The National Sleep Foundation (never new there was such a thing!!), based in Washington, DC says that our body temperature drops between two and four o’clock in the afternoon and we can feel sleepy, ring a bell???
The answer is to take a 15-20 minute power nap to restore mental alertness. Some employers now provide rooms in which staff can lay down a mat and take a quick nap (where the heck you find a job like this, I do not know!!) But Don’t over do it- NSF’s research shows that napping for more than 20 minutes makes you MORE tired!!
